Big News for Coldspring Center!
Posted on March 27, 2014
I wanted to share two pieces of great news this week with the community. Coldspring Center has been up and running for about three months now and have reached a point where we need to expand to meet the demand for our services and trainings. The news today is that we have hired employee number three and are launching a revolutionary trauma informed online training curriculum.

Second, Coldspring Center is excited to announce the launch of our Trauma Informed Excellence, or TIE, online training series. The TIE Model was developed to give organizations and systems of care the knowledge and skills to fully integrate the trauma informed paradigm into their operations. The online format allows us to deliver a large amount of knowledge at a cost that can fit into limited training budgets. The four trainings in the TIE Series are: Trauma Informed Care, Thrive: Self-care and Culture, Leadership and Trauma Specific Treatment. They are based on the research and concepts that have made our in-person trauma, leadership and self-care trainings so successful.
We are excited to be rolling out the curriculum with the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of HIV, STD & Hepatitis over the next few months. We have worked with the great folks in Iowa for several years and their expertise and passion makes them a perfect partner for the TIE initial roll-out.
